The Western Dane Democracy Project is a community of people who are committed to securing the future of our democracy. Together, we engage in nonviolent action to protect our families, our neighbors, and our country from MAGA Republican authoritarianism.
What We Do
Engage
From traditional and social media to 1:1 conversations, we spread awareness about individual rights and the harms of the MAGA regime.
Connect
Fascism thrives when citizens become isolated and community trust erodes. Through member gatherings, support for targeted groups, and community-based action, we build collective strength to counter the hostile MAGA takeover of our country.
Empower
By offering information, resources, and learning opportunities, we build capacity for strengthening democracy, practicing non-cooperation against authoritarianism, and creating a community where all can thrive.
Activate
Every individual has a unique ability to protect our democracy. Together, we boost our power exponentially. WDDP facilitates individual actions, organizes full-group initiatives, and collaborates with other pro-democracy groups.
